Jocelyn has been wanting a skateboard since our friends got Marc a skateborading video game. Well, she finally got to try one for the first time at her cousin's house. She did really well and of course she wants a helmet now too! This is her new incentive to pick up her toys! She can save up her money for a skateboard and we will buy her all of the protective gear. Sound like a good deal to me!
Marc and I (mostly Marc) are helping a friend coach a soccer team and so Jocelyn loves to go and kick the ball around. She loves it! She is also an accessory girl (ie. hats, shoes, ring, etc.) and if something looks like it might work as a hat or something she tries it on for size. :) So you are asking what does soccer and accessories have to do with each other? You tell me!
Happy Easter to all!! We had a GREAT easter. Jocelyn of course loves dying easter eggs and getting dressed up for Easter. The Easter Bunny brought Jocelyn a Panda Webkinz and Dora Slippers which she absolutely loves!! We also spent the evening with our friends and the kids had a great time with an egg hunt.
I was in the bathroom doing my hair and I kept peeking my head out to make sure Jocelyn wasn't getting into trouble. Well, I didn't see her so I walked into the kitchen and there she was sitting on the floor in a puddle of Pee eating butter out of the tub. Apparently the butter was so yummy she couldn't take a break to go potty. It was one of those moments where at first I was a little annoyed but quickly the annoyance turned into laughter and pictures. I knew I couldn't let this pass without getting a picture. Jocelyn later said to me "butter is sooo yummy!" Well, I guess so.
My mom came to town and was only here over night, but Jocelyn was attached to her from the moment she arrived until she left. She had a great time putting together a huge Big Bird puzzle over and over again and showing grandma her favorite movies. They had so much fun together!
Jocelyn has this great ability of putting together somewhat odd combinations of clothing. We love it because she always makes us laugh! This time she added her sisters "super baby" underpants, shoes and backpack to her normal bed time apparel. Gotta love it!
Well I chopped off my hair! Those of you who have known me for a long time know that I have always had long hair and the last time I had it this short was in the 8th grade. This hair cut turned out much better than the last big hair cut!:) I didn't cry at all this time!:)
