HO HO HO!!! Merry Christmas!

Well, we had a wonderful Christmas. All of Marc's family was here and so we did a lot of family bonding. The adults bonded some with the help of the Wii. We bowled and boxed from the comfort of home! Very fun!

The kids sure had a lot of fun too! Here are Alyssia, Jocelyn, and Bella in there Christmas PJ's. Bella loves dogs so we thought that the puppy jammies were perfect for her.

On Christmas Eve all of the kids decorated cookies for Santa while we all sang Christmas songs! It was very fun!

We did have a white Christmas here but it snowed more after Christmas so the kids had a lot of fun in the snow! Grandpa was appropriately bombing all of the kids with snow balls but unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of that:(

And, lastly here are the girls enjoying some of their Christmas goodies! Bella loved her Dora blanket and book that came with her baby doll. Jocelyn got scrubs and a nurse set from her grandma and grandpa that she loves!

Monkey See...Monkey Do!

Bella loves her big sister! The first thing she says in the morning is Jo Jo and she wants to know where her sister is. She loves to follow her around and do what Jocelyn is doing! It is quite cute to watch. This particular day Jocelyn was playing with the attachments from the vacuum and Bella had to join in too! I thought it was cute!

Happy Birthday Jocelyn!

Jocelyn turned #4 on Saturday! This was the first year that we had a "real" birthday party and she was so excited!! We only invited a few of her friends because our apartment is so small and with it snowing outside we had to keep it simple and small. We painted t-shirts and most importantly we had cake, ice cream, birthday hats, and noise makers! Jocelyn loves Diego so we had a Diego/Dora themed party! Go Diego Go!

Here we are just getting ready for the party.
Bella Boo getting in the birthday spirit!
Landon and Jocelyn excited about the party and of course the hats!
This was her cake. I had been really sick up until the party so my creativity and energy was lacking and this was her cake. I know I see it now but I should have put happy birthday Jocelyn in that empty space:) OK in my defense that is where the big Diego candle went. Oh well, I guess there is always next year.

And then to add a cherry on top Jocelyn got to go pick something out from her Grandma Marian, and this was her choice. She had so much fun picking out her own toy and honestly we had no idea that she would have wanted My Little Pony, so maybe we will let her do it again next year.

Birthdays are great for the siblings too!! Bella had fun playing with Jocelyn's toys too- at least for a few seconds anyway:)

Look! I'm a big girl now!

Isabella is 17months old and has certainly caught on that she has missed out on a lot being a baby. She just watches everything we do and wants to try it too! For instance, she isn't potty trained but she really wanted to sit on the big toilet and she loves to play at the sink in the water like her sister. She has also requested to have her sisters underwear put on her.

She has also enjoyed trying to feed herself:) Mommy not so much! What a mess!

Oh yes! Picking her nose! That one is fun to do! She just stumbled across that ability one day while she was eating. It was quite funny! Luckily, she doesn't walk around with her finger up her nose alot...yet!

And, well...she is just darn cute too!

Happy Halloween!

Well, of course we appropriately channeled the Halloween spirit by participating in the pumpkin carving ritual:) Jocelyn helped mom make a princess pumpkin while dad hand carved an alien in the other pumpkin which we didn't get a picture of:(

Jocelyn went to a Halloween party that some of our neighbors hosted. She went as a cow but then accessorized with other girls costume pieces and became a sort of a cow witch:)I thought it was pretty cute!

Then came Halloween night! We went trick-or-treating with our friends Trent, Cori, and Landon. It was fun and as always interesting! The kids sure had fun and it was fun to relive our childhood trick-or-treating memories! After we treated (not a whole lot of tricking going on) we put the kids to bed and we all played games until late! So fun!

Jackie & Clints Visit

My sister and her family came to visit and so we took them to some of our favorite places. We took them to a gymnastics place where the kids get to run and jump on everything. We also took them to Hogle Zoo and to Corn Bellys. It was fun getting to play!!

Cheyenne Trip

So, yes I am months behind on updating the blog but I am hoping to do better. Anyway, I couldn't leave out our trip to Cheyenne this summer. Marc's family had a reunion there and then we stayed and got to hang out with my family too. It is always fun to get to see everyone! I wish we could just teleport so that we could all see each other whenever we want or need to:) Someone needs to start working on that! Anyhow here we go!

Family Reunion Tidbits

The Reunion was a lot of fun. We all gathered together at Hynds Lodge where you can commune with nature or hang out in the lodge and play games, do crafts, and eat! eat! and eat! Well the girls of course were very excited to see suckers (homemade suckers:) on the food table. Jocelyn got her own but Bella shared a cinnamon with mom and dad. The cinnamon suckers however were quite spicy and being a 1year old child it isn't really food unless it is wiped over your ENTIRE face. Well lets just say that the spice left a mark.

Air Show

We had to ride a school bus to the air show and Jocelyn was so excited to get to ride on a bus. She thought it was the coolest thing!
